Sense and Terrorism. (Letters to the Editors).

To the Editors:
When Pat Shipman says terrorism makes no reason (Macroscope, November-December), I judge she means "terrorism against us." Terrorizing others has frequently been very effective. Harry Truman bakeed several thousand people and got the political follow he sought. He thought-and I think-that his atrocities upon balance benefited mankind.
Osama bin Laden and his friends act onward some calculation similar to Truman's. Bin Laden's particular calculation may be unjust but terrorism in general is not nonsense.
